How It Works

From the trigger pull to the download link

Five steps, fully self-service. Here's exactly what your customer experiences at the lane, no staff involved at any point.

STEP 01 · RECORD

Customer starts a session

They walk up to the tablet at their lane and tap "Start Session." Then they wait for the camera's flash to come on, that's go time. The downrange camera captures 4K for 30 seconds, and recording is always free.

The camera shows them from the front, their face, grip, and stance at the exact moment of the shot. It's a view of themselves they've never had.
STEP 02 · DETECT

Proprietary blast detection

The moment recording ends, our detection engine isolates the muzzle-blast moments and extracts them as high-resolution photos, in under a minute.

Built specifically for indoor ranges: it handles varying light, different calibers, and rapid strings of fire. How it works is our secret.
STEP 03 · REVIEW

Customer browses their captures

Video and photos appear on the kiosk. They swipe through, play the video, and pick what to keep. The system surfaces the best frames; they make the final call.

The free video doubles as a training tool, shooters see their grip, flinch, and form from a view they've never had of themselves, then come back to try again.
STEP 04 · PURCHASE

Take payment at the kiosk

Photos, video, or both. Take payment the way that fits your range, tap-to-pay at the lane through our checkout vendor, or ticket sales at your front desk. Enter an email and it's done in seconds; coupon codes and gift cards work either way.

You choose the checkout. Some ranges want everything handled at the lane, others want sales at the counter. Both work out of the box.
STEP 05 · DOWNLOAD & SHARE

Media delivered instantly

A download link arrives by email within seconds, accessible from any device and stored securely for 30 days.

Muzzle-blast photos are the kind of content that stops a scroll and starts a conversation. Every share puts your range in front of a new audience.
Common Questions

FAQ

Does the customer need to do anything special?

No. One small cue, they wait for the camera's flash to come on, then shoot as normal. The system handles capture, detection, and checkout automatically.

What if no blasts are detected?

The full 30-second video is always there, and since recording is free, they can try again on the next session.

Can a customer come back later to buy?

Media is only live during the active session. After a few minutes of inactivity it's deleted, which creates natural urgency to buy on the spot.

How long is the download link active?

30 days after purchase, downloadable as many times as they want from any device.

What payment methods work?

However you want to take it, tap-to-pay at the lane through our checkout vendor, or ticket sales at your front desk. Coupon codes and gift cards are supported either way.

Who owns the records?

The Shooting Gallery keeps a permanent record of every purchased capture and transaction. Recordings nobody buys are deleted in the ordinary course of business. Customers reach their media through a private download link, and the consent they agree to at checkout covers The Shooting Gallery as well as your range. Payments and the customer relationship stay fully yours; we simply hold the records.
